Career Research Reflection

The purpose of the Senior Seminar is to reflect on previous courses and assignments, then catalogue the skills we have gained in our studies. Since it has college-to-career status, our class’ focus has been on reflective exercises and career research. In doing so, we identified the marketable skills of a rhetoric major and how we might apply those aptitudes in our chosen fields.

Artifact Seven involves a consideration of my future, my skills, and my hopeful career in ministry. I researched potential job opportunities and salaries, as well as graduate degree requirements and costs. However, the most important and timely of the assignment requirements was the contemplation of my next steps towards employment in my field. In Artifact Seven, I write on my experiences, my talents, and my career goals.
